This website has been designed to be inclusive and accessible to all users, regardless of abilities and preferences. This page highlights what we have done to make our website accessible, and explains how to use some of the features. As we are still developing it, please let us know if you run into problems so that we can improve the site accordingly.
Every page has a Skip Navigation link at the top of the page to allow users of assistive technologies to jump straight to the main content of the page. In addition, the pages on this site are can be navigated by using a keyboard, mouse or any combination of the two.
We have also set up Access keys to make it easy to jump directly to frequently used pages. Below is the list of Access keys used on this site:
Most links will have the Title attribute set, describing the destination of the link in greater detail. Title attributes are not included if the link already fully describes the where the link leads to. Links are written as much as possible to make sense out of context, so that you do not have to read the surrounding text to understand where the link will take you. On any page, identically-worded links will always link to the same destination page.
You will always be warned if clicking on a link opens a file or website in a new browser window. The warning is either contained in the link itself, the Title attribute or in the text immediately after the link.
All images and other non-text content on this site has an alternative text (ALT) attribute that describes their content or function. This description will be displayed when images are turned off, on a text-only browser or as a 'tool tip' in certain browsers when the mouse pointer is moved over the image.
A number of other design elements have been included to make it easier for everyone to use these pages. Our website uses relative font sizes so that you can freely resize the text in your browser. When colour is being used, we make sure there is maximum contrast between foreground and background items. Only hyperlinks appear underlined, we do not use underlining for any other text.
All the content should be usable with screen readers or text only browsers and with stylesheets turned off.
If you are having difficulties using this site or you find broken links or other problems, please email webteam@itenables.info with a description of the problem or contact us via any other method.
