This page explains the security features of the TalkByText payment system as used in TalkByText products and for purchases of TalkByText and its accessories on this website.
When purchasing TalkByText or its accessories from this website, your browser uses a secure socket connection (SSL) and will encrypt all of your personal and credit/debit card details before transmitting them to us across the Internet.
Similarly, when using the payment, balance or bill retrieval functions in the TalkByText client software itself, TalkByText will use a secure socket connection (SSL) and will encrypt all of your personal and credit/debit card details before transmitting them to us across the Internet.
The payment processing servers only pass on your card details to our payment processing provider Datacash and receive a success or failure notification from Datacash. We do not store your card details in a database or otherwise retain them.
Our connection to the payment processing servers of Datacash are carried out over secure, encrypted network connections.
The servers are protected by a Firewall and are subject to a regular security update policy.
